Nissan TITAN: Raw V8 Power

One of the best parts of driving a truck is having the power of a V8 engine behind you. The standard 5.6L V8 engine aboard the Nissan TITAN provides plenty of power to work with; up to 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque.

This engine provides quite a bit of power with a towing capacity of up to 9,660 pounds¹ when properly equipped. That’s plenty of strength to haul that trailer you need for your trip to the mountains.

Trailering Features

Trailering is safe and easy with the Nissan TITAN thanks to multiple features that work to enhance capability. Just look at the available Trailer Sway Control which applies light brake pressure when your trailer begins to fishtail. The result is much greater control when you’re bringing a trailer along with you, so traveling down the highway feels much more comfortable.

If you go up into the higher trims you can even equip your vehicle with an available Trailer Brake Controller. This factory-installed trailer brake provides greater handling by allowing you to manipulate the gain of your trailer brakes. If you need a light touch on your trailer brakes, you can use this to give you the extra maneuverability that you need.
