The History of Country Heritage Winery

Jennifer and Jeremy Lutter bonded over their love of farming and shared in a rich family history of the trade.

After they married in 1997, they were eager to get started on their own legacy, purchasing a 12-acre blueberry farm in 2000. After their son was born a year later, they began to expand their farm to include red raspberries, melons, sweet corn, and—eventually—their award-winning grapes, leading to the creation of Country Heritage Winery.

Their generations of crop-growing experience and over 100 years of family heritage have helped them make wines that delight the senses. They have now expanded their farm to over 70 acres of vineyards and several acres of blueberries. Their team also now includes Kevin Geeting, who knew he had a passion for wine from the moment he experienced his first glass.

Despite this growth, they’re still committed to using fresh fruit in all their wines, for one-of-a-kind, bold flavor.
