The Sentra is more prepared for the commute with its added efficiency. It offers an EPA-estimated 29 city/39 highway MPG.2 The Altima is still plenty efficient, however, with its own EPA-estimated 28 city/39 highway MPG rating.1
The Altima comes standard with a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that generates up to 188 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. There’s also a turbo option for more performance-oriented drivers. This 2.0L VC-Turbo™ engine produces up to 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque.
The Sentra, on the other hand, comes standard with a 2.0L 4-cylinder that can make up to 149 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque.

The Nissan Altima and the Sentra also come standard with cloth seating and a 6-way adjustable driver's seat.
Depending on your preferences, you can opt for Sport Cloth or leather-appointed seats in the Altima. Both are also available with the Sentra. Prima-Tex™, however, is only available with the Sentra. This durable leatherette provides all the comfort and convenience you could need.
