Here at Andy Mohr Avon Nissan, we want to help you do more than simply get behind the wheel of a Nissan Rogue. We want to help you keep your new crossover in great shape, too.

Avon, Plainfield, and Danville drivers will find that securing their car's longevity isn't hard as long as they stay up to date on auto maintenance-and you can do so just by referencing this Nissan Rogue maintenance schedule by our team.

Every 5,000 Miles

When you bring your Nissan Rogue into the service center for the first time, there are two important jobs that need to be done.

First things first, the engine oil and oil filter will need to be changed. This will keep your engine clean and lubricated.

Second, it's recommended that you have the tires rotated with every oil change. This will help them to wear evenly (and last a whole lot longer). We're usually running oil change coupons at our Avon service center, so be sure to check them out before calling us for an appointment!

Every 20,000 Miles

After your oil is changed this time around, there are two things that the mechanic should be inspecting for leaks. First are the EVAP vapor lines and second are the fuel lines. Common wear and tear can cause these to crack, so make sure they're retaining all fluid.

As you've likely had the car for around two years at this point, as well, it's time to have your front-end alignment checked.

Every 30,000 Miles

At the 30,000-mile mark, your air cleaner filter is due for a replacement. However, keep in mind, if you drive in mainly dusty areas, there's a good chance this is going to need to be changed far quicker.

Every 40,000 Miles

It's a good idea to have your drive belts checked at 40,000 miles. If there are any tears in them, they should be replaced completely.

In addition to drive belts, have the mechanic check the tread on your tires for wear. This is around the time when they start to need replacing.

Every 60,000 Miles

This is a great time for the mechanic to start checking your brake system. Brake pads and rotors may have worn down at this point and will need replacing as soon as possible.

They'll show signs of wear by emitting squeals or squeaks whenever you hit the brakes. Coming to a stop may feel sluggish at this point, as well.

Every 105,000 Miles

Once you hit this milestone marker, two big things need to happen.

First, the spark plugs need to be replaced. They are responsible for your crossover's ignition, so you don't want to be left with a bad set.

Second, the engine coolant should be flushed and replaced at this point. This maintains an adequate temperature under the hood, so be sure to keep it fresh.
